Senior Developer

Kerbal Space Program is looking for Senior Game Engineers to join our international development
team. In this role, you will work closely with other programmers, as well as designers, artists, and
others to bring new features and content to life. You will have the opportunity to contribute to
core parts of the game and solve complex problems for our players.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local and remote team members
  • Write and test quality C#/C++ code
  • Investigate and solve issues reported by internal testers and public forums
  • Assist and mentor junior engineers
  • Participate and provide feedback in feature discussions as desired

Requirements

  • Strong Math knowledge
  • Experience in the following coding languages: C++ / C#, GLSL / HLSL
  • Experience in either Unity Engine, Unreal Engine or CryEngine
  • Experience in Version Control Software
  • Collaborator, organized, and with a passion for video games
  • Proven experience in the video game Industry
  • Speaks fluent Spanish and advanced English
  • Preferably knowledgeable in the following areas: graphics, physics, animation, shaders, UI
  • Bachelor level studies in a computer science related field or equivalent work experience

 

 

3D Artist

Kerbal Space Program is looking for a skilled 3d artist to join our international team. You will work with other artists, designers, and developers to help author and build awesome in-game, fully textured assets. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the KSP universe look and identity by creating and fine-tuning environmental assets such as skyboxes, materials, props, and geographical features. The successful candidate will be experienced in the full spectrum of hard-surface modelling and texturing, and proficient with environments. A technical profile is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Create, overhaul, and maintain fully textured 3D models
  • Generate KSP stylized (non photo-real) painted texture maps, with Adobe PSD, Quixel or similar tools
  • Help develop large scale locations and environmental assets
  • Communicate with art and design leads to maintain brand and gameplay consistency
  • Provide time estimations on your tasks and achieve deadlines
  • Create and fine tune procedural shading networks that nail a specific look or effect

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the game industry with at least 1 game released as a 3d artist
  • Solid skills in hard surface modelling, preferably in Maya
  • Solid texturing skills, preferably in Adobe Photoshop
  • Great understanding of lighting, color, proportion, and scale
  • Good English skills both verbal and written

Nice to Have Skills

  • Understanding of shader creation and maintenance
  • Experience with Unity
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Basic coding skills

 

 

Quality Assurance Analyst

Kerbal Space Program is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our international development team. You will work alongside the team reporting bugs on multiple platforms, generating issue and status reports for different tests, providing support and triage of public feedback, giving expert feedback on the game experience, and testing developer fixes as they are implemented. In this role, you should have an eye for detail, excellent communication and problem solving skills to nail down those difficult reproduction steps.
The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:

  • Extensive experience playing Kerbal Space Program
  • Experience with bug tracking software and a general knowledge of game development
  • Reasonably fluent in written and spoken English
  • Working Knowledge of Physics/Math and other game related mechanics or enthusiasm to learn

We are looking for a Senior Game Designer, to join his international team-platform development.

Skills

  • You must have passion for video games, being able to work in teams, organized and self-taught.

Responsibilities

  • Design fun and challenging gameplay ideas for our audience
  • Create, document, maintain and communicate every aspect of the game view
  • Oversee all elements of gameplay, story, characters, game mechanics and level design
  • Collaborate with teams from all disciplines to implement new features and game viewing
  • Balancing and tuning gameplay features based on feedback from the team Requirements (mandatory)
  • Passion for video games • Teamwork, self-learning • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor level studies completed in Computer Science related Experience
  • Personal or commercial projects related to video games
  • 3 years experience in the video game industry
  • Ability to prototype new ideas in Unreal Engine, CryEngine or Unity
